ENIDEA (Hellenic Federation of Private Employment Services), is the voice of recruitment, staffing and workforce solutions industry at national level. It connects representatives of the recruitment, staffing and workforce solutions sectors. Members of the World Employment Confederation cover a wide range of HR services.
ENIDEA, was founded in 2002 and currently accounts 9 member-companies.
The union consists of companies that have the necessary legal authorization from the Ministry of Employment to offer services under the Greek Labor Law for Temporary work.
The purpose of the Union is non-profit and it is to provide mutual support to its members for the purposes of their information and for the best possible use of their activities.
The Union’s subject is to work closely with governmental agencies/organizations, social partners and foreign organizations, with the aim of:
- Showcasing the role of employment in the proper functioning of the labor market and, therefore, in the development of the Greek economy.
- Enhancing the decent working conditions of employment through the greater penetration of Private Employment Companies.
- Fighting unemployment through employment.
- Reducing undeclared work.
- Formulating, implementing and disseminating good practices in terms of employment services in our country.
The Union is a member of the World Employment Confederation and the World Employment Confederation – Europe, part of WEC.
The World Employment Confederation is the voice of the recruitment, staffing and workforce solutions industry at global level. It connects representatives of the recruitment, staffing and workforce solutions sectors from 50 countries and 7 of the largest global companies with a unique network of international policy makers, think tanks, social partners and the academic world. Members of the World Employment Confederation cover a wide range of HR services, including agency work, direct recruitment, career management, RPO and MSP.
The World Employment Confederation plays an essential role in promoting the positive economic and social contribution of the employment industry in enabling work, adaptation, security and prosperity within the labour market. The overall goal of the World Employment Confederation is to pave the way for the sustainable growth of the employment industry all around the world.
The World Employment Confederation-Europe represents the 40% of the World Employment Confederation, counting more than 112 thousand of Private Employment Agencies. The total number of members globally, amount to 157 thousand.
